My entrepreneurial spirit started at age 12 when I joined a 4-H program, raised chickens, and launched my first business, Greg’s Eggs, selling fresh eggs to my neighbors and schoolteachers. Over the next 45 years, that same drive led me to build and manage a diverse range of companies, spanning from corporate television production and online retail to construction and event management.
Alongside my business ventures, giving back has always been at my core. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting my community in various ways, including serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Urban Ministries in Durham, North Carolina

A New Chapter & A New Purpose
In September 2025, my life took an unexpected turn when I received an early-stage Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis from Duke Neurology. Navigating this condition has brought immense changes. My wonderful wife, Linda, and I had to close our South Carolina construction company, step away from our retirement travel plans, and adapt to a completely new reality.
To manage our living costs and stay within a short drive of the incredible medical team at Duke, we recently relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina.

As a lifelong entrepreneur, I built this storefront as a way to continue contributing, creating, and fighting back.
